The Dawson District Renewable Resources Council (DDRRC) needs you.
The TH Fish and Wildlife Branch and TH Council are seeking to nominate TH Citizens to serve as representatives on the DDRRC. We are currently seeking ONE FULL-TIME MEMBER serving for a 3-year term. The DDRRC is a voice for local community members in managing renewable resources, such as fish, wildlife, habitat, and forestry maters, specific to the TH Traditional Territory. DDRRC members must have resided in the TH TT for at least one year immediately prior to their appointment and should have long-term familiarity with renewable resources within the TH TT.
Acting as a member of this Council requires the following commitments:
- Term: 3-year term
- Meetings: ~2hrs twice a month as needed
- Honoraria: Members receive $50/hr. for their participation
- Mileage: Reimbursement for members who reside outside of the municipality
- Meal: Dinner is provided with meetings
