Exciting things are happening next week with Nun Cho Ga, the millennia-old baby woolly mammoth found in Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Traditional Territory in 2022.

Monday, December 4, from 2:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m., TH citizens are invited to join in a visioning session and community update on Nun Cho Ga (big baby animal). Citizens can attend in person at Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Community Hall) or via videoconference by registering here https://forms.office.com/r/nqEuqH3g9i (You will need your citizenship number to join virtually). Citizens are welcome to join in at any point in the session, which will feature updates from TH and Yukon Government representatives, as well as opportunities to provide input and ideas for taking good care of Nun Cho Ga and her legacy.

The following day (Tuesday, December 5), all members of the public can join for an update and Q&A session on the journey of Nun Cho Ga. This session takes place from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Community Hall) & via videoconference (join via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/95499206072…) Dinner will be served for in-person attendees at both sessions.
