Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in invites you to come together to support the Warrior Walkers and honour the children past, present and future.
We invite you to join us for a Community Breakfast at 8:30am on Sunday, September 24th in the Äłät Nëhëjël (TH Hall) followed by a Ceremony at 10:00am.
This will include remarks from Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Leadership and the Warrior Walkers, with an offering of tobacco to the Sacred Fire and Smudging.
The Hän Singers and Dancers will lead the walkers off with our Hän Honour Song as they begin their journey from Dawson to Whitehorse.
Emotional supports will be present, and people are encouraged to join the walk for however long they wish.
We welcome all survivors and their families to participate in the walk with the warriors.
