It’s RockYourMocs Week! Celebrate with us on Wednesday, November 15th and make your own Christmas Moccasin Ornament. Hosted by Ni’ehłyat, Nidähjì’ (Our Families Our Future) at the Chief John Jonas Centre from 5:30pm.
From 12 – 18 Nov, wear your favourites and share your stories by posting photos of your moccasins using the official hashtag #RockYourMocs. Rock Your Mocs was started in 2011 by Jessica Jaylyn Atsye of Laguna Pueblo, N.M and is now a worldwide movement. A positive opportunity to be united and celebrate tribal individuality, honouring our ancestors and all Indigenous peoples.
