Event Details

Last year, the Canadian Red Cross entered into a new partnership agreement with the Yukon Government to provide the delivery of Emergency Support Services (ESS), non-medical survival support to people affected by an emergency, to residents of the Yukon Territory.

Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and the Canadian Red Cross will be hosting an information session at the TH hall on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4-5 pm. Our guest speaker is Brandon Tsätsʼät, from Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin First Nation and is part of the Wolf Clan. Brandon works for the Canadian Red Cross as a Project Officer of Indigenous Programs for BC and Yukon.

We are extending an invitation to you and all those interested in our community to join us, virtually to discuss how citizens can access these supports and others offered by the Canadian Red Cross, as well as answer any questions or concerns.

For more information about the programs provided – take a look at the link below from the Canadian Red Cross Indigenous Leadership Helpdesk. A National Support Program for Indigenous Communities that provides support with Emergency Planning and Preparedness, Health Guidance, and Community Wellbeing.
