Follow the steps below:

1) PREPARING YOUR COVER LETTER & RESUME:

  • Go to our job board on trondek.ca to view and apply for available positions. Applications must include a cover letter and resume to be considered.
  • Ensure you provide dates and locations of the work or experience, and what duties and responsibilities you had.
  • Let us know how you meet the essential qualifications as outlined in the job posting.
  • Make sure your contact information is updated.
  • Upload to our Job Posting site.

2) WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

  • Applications are collected until the Closing Date and Time, or until the job is filled.
  • HR reviews all applications. Cover letters and resumes which demonstrate meeting the minimum requirements are screened to be considered for an interview.
  • While we attempt to communicate with shortlisted candidates as quickly as possible, follow-up correspondence may take some time.
  • We appreciate all who consider us for employment, but only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.

3) THE INTERVIEW:

  • All interview panels consist of one department representative, one TH citizen representative, and one HR representative.
  • TH citizens are welcome to reach out to Education & Training to help prepare for the job interview.
  • On the day of the interview, come to the HR office at your scheduled time. You will be greeted by HR and escorted to the interview room. You do not need to bring anything with you – note paper will be provided.
  • The panel will walk you through the steps and ensure you are comfortable before proceeding.
  • After the interview your references may be requested and contacted. Do ensure you have up to date contact details for your chosen references.
  • All interview applicants will receive a follow up email from the HR team.
