Your input on this matter is incredibly valuable.
Gwich’in Tribal Council, the First Nation of Nacho Nyak Dun, Parks Canada and the Government of Yukon are currently exploring the possibility of creating a new National Park in a portion of the Peel River Watershed. The area being considered is not within the Traditional Territory of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, but as signatory to the Peel Watershed Land Use Plan and with ancestral roots and subsistence rights within the area, your input is incredibly valued.
