Citizens are invited to join us for a Citizen workshop on the new draft policy for the TH Housing Rental Policy.
This will take place on Tuesday, September 24 from 9am to 4:30pm in Äłät Nëhëjël. Lunch and Snacks will be provided.
Proposed Agenda for the day will look like this:
9:00am – Opening Prayer and Welcome
9:30am – Discussion of how general laws are applicable to TH, from federal to city bylaws.
10:30am – Introduction of the draft policy and reviewing section by section with feedback and recommendations from Citizens.
12:00pm – Lunch Break
1:00pm – Ongoing discussion of the draft policy
3:30pm – Discussion on what is affordable housing and how to ensure it is available to Citizens today.
4:30pm – Closing Remarks
For those who cannot attend in person, you can also participate throughout the day via Zoom and contribute your thoughts.
